DAY 1 - MON, NOV 30, 2026:  CAPE  TOWN

Upon arrival to Cape Town, you will be welcomed at the door of your aircraft by a local representative holding a sign with your name on it.  Alongside your assistant, you will be directed through immigration, baggage collection and customs.

DAY 2 - TUE, DEC 1, 2026:  CAPE TOWN

Meet your private guide and driver for a half-day discovery of Cape Town.  Set out around the periphery for some picture-perfect views of the omnipresent Table Mountain, the single most welcoming icon of the city, its plateau a beacon for visitors near and far.  There's no better way of understanding local history than through your Capetonian guide.  Hear of Cape Town's storied past as your guide recounts the colorful histories of the Houses of Parliament, the Castle of Good Hope [ South Africa's oldest building]  and the well-tented Company Gardens.  Bargain your way through the lively Greenmarket Square bin search of souvenirs while meeting local artisans along the way,  As you enter another one of Cape Tow's famed areas ate Bo-Kaap, learn how the Cape Malkey Community, with its cobbled streets and brightly colored houses, became of city's most vibrant neighborhoods.  From here you have the choice of being dropped off at the V&A Waterfront tom experience this landmark at your own pace, with its many shops, restaurants and pubs - or at your hotel to end the tour.  Should you choose to visit the waterfront, please speak to your Destination Expert for a range of recommendations for lunch. 

DAY 3 - WED, DEC 2, 2026  CAPE TOWN

After meeting your expert local guide in Cape Town, begin the day with a visit to one of the more popular leisure hubs for locals.  The glorious beaches of Clifton and Campus Bay, where e impressive white sand beaches hug the shoreline with the Twelve Apostles as a stunning backdrop.  Learn about the fascinating history of this breathtaking land from your Capetonian guide as you begin the spectacular sea-side drive to the quaint village of Hout Bay.  After a stop in the village, you will track along the extraordinary Chapman's Peak Drive, known as on of the most picturesque roadways world-wide.  With the flexibility to spend as little or as long you would like in this region crammed with incredible panoramic lookouts, the benefits of having private vehicle and guide truly come into play.

Further along you will reach the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where, at Cape Point, you will board a funicular or walk up the stairway that leads to the Cape Point Lighthouse; it is here that you will observe dramatic. coastal and you will observe dramatic coastal scenery and fantastic views of False Bay.  Departing from Cape Point, head northward to Simon's Town to enjoy lunch [included].  Although the city is host to a number of tasty dining options, consider indulging in fresh-caught fish and chips, the town's speciality.  After a refreshing lunch and a bit of time to learn about Simon's Town, set off with your camera ready to visit Boulders Beach, a nearby nature that is home to a colony of African penguins.  Wrapping up your days adventure, tour the idyllic Kirstenbosch BotanicalGardens, a sprawling park brimming with rare and exotic plant-life that is surely one of the finest examples of botany the world over, before being returned to your hotel.

DAY 4 - THU, DEC 3, 2026  CAPE TOWN TO HOEDSPRUIT TO KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE.

Meet your private driver for an airport transfer.  Board a flight in Cape Town with service to Hoedspruit. Approximate flight duration is 2 hours and 20 minutes.  Upon arrival board a shared transfer from Hoedspruit to your lodge in the Kapama Game Reserve. The approximate travel time 30 minutes. 

After dropping off your luggage and familiarizing yourself with the lodge, it is time set out on your first official game drive alongside a professional tracker, ranger and other guests of the camp.  As part of the Greater Kruger Area, the Kapama Private Game Reserve is home to impressive herds of migrating buffalo, trumpeting elephants, grazing antelopes and a variety of predators including lions and leopards.  Spend the afternoon spotting and snapping photos of species  on the reserve while basking in the incomparable beauty of South Africa, the sun descending behind the distant Drakrnsberg Mountain Range during the latter hours. Having worked up an appetite while exploring this fascinating and photogenic land, you will be returned to your lodge sin time to get set for a delicious, freshly prepared dinner.

DAY 5 - FRI, DEC 4, 2026   KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE.

In the cool morning hours before sunrise, the Kapama bush is incredibly active.  Gear up and get comfortable in your safari vehicle as you set out before morning light to witness this symphony of nature firsthand.  Beyond the Big 5, 40 unique species of mammals and nearly 350 species of birds can be found in Kapama; it is nature lover's paradise that cannot be fully appreciated until you're cruising through the bush, engulfed in the sounds, scents and sights of South Africa. After a few hours in the wilds, you will be returned to your lodge, greeted by the aromas of a fresh made breakfast waiting to be enjoyed.

Following lunch at the lodge, venture back into the bushveld  for an afternoon game drive.  As darkness falls on the private reserve, nocturnal animals awake and begin their evening routines; leopards are particularly active during this time of there day.  Alongside your skilled tracker, survey bush with a spotlight, illuminating the eyes of prey and predators alike.  Beyond the Big 56, perhaps you will spot caracals, charm baboons, black-backed jackals, warthogs, waterbucks or vervet monkeys,  After a few hours, you will head back to the lodge in time to freshen up ahead of another fantastic dinner.

DAY 6 - SAT, DEC 5,  2026 KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

This morning you will meet up with the other guests to begin an exciting early morning game drive.  Encompassing 13,00 hectares of wilderness, both the Kapama and Klaserie rivers flow through the confines of the private game reserve.  These water sources create and ideal habitat for the resident wildlife.  You will be out for a few thrilling hours before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

DAY 7 - SUN DEC 6 , 2026 : KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE TO NELSPRUIT [ KMIA] TO VICTORIA FALLS.

Sit back and relax during this private transfer traveling from the Kapama Private Game Reserve to Nelspruit, where the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport [KMIA]is located.  The duration of this trip will vary bases on the location of your lodge but generally takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete.

Board a flight with service from Nelspruit to Victoria Falls. The approximate flight duration is one hour and 50 minutes.

Victoria Falls, The Smoke that Thunders, has captivated the imaginations of explorers from the moment David Livingston first laid his eyes on it back in the middle of the 19th century.  Today, explore this natural masterpiece and immediately understand why it has rightfully earned its coveted spot among Southern Africa's most favored attractions.  With a number of viewpoints available on the Zimbabwean side of the falls, you are truly spoiled for choices as you relish the majestic views and take countless photographs of the world's largest sheet of falling water.  Fell humbled by nature's overwhelming power as you listen to the hypnotizing, thunderous sounds of the fall and as you watch the cloud of mist rise from the bottom of the deep gorge into the sky.  All the while, take in the exotic flora and fauna around you and simply enjoy your African adventure.
